Probably you don't know it, but I am a huge of John Green's books. If you don't know who is he, just think about "The Fault in Our Stars", you must had heard something about it.
Anyway, his books always can hit me right in the feels, partly because they talk about common teen-aged experiences which sometimes turn sad, and partly because John can express ideas with the right words.
If you too are a fan or you are following the news about cinema, the other day the "Paper Town" trailer came out, I can't you how curious I was about it, especially because of the cast. Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff are the main actors, respectively Margo and Quentin in the fictional story.

Some time ago I read the book and I found it really pleasant, particularly when it is described the "revenge night" and the trip made by Q and his friends and I am really interested to know how it came out on film.

Forse non lo sapete, ma sono una grande fan dei libri di John Green. Se non sai chi è, pensa soltanto a "Colpa delle Stelle", è impossibilie che non l'abbiate mai sentito nominare.
Comunque, i suoi libri riescono sempre a coinvolgermi ed ad emozionarmi, in parte perché parlano di comuni storie adolescenziali che spesso finiscono in un modo triste, e parte perché John sa esprimere le sue idee con le giuste parole.
Se anche tu sei un fan o segui le news sul cinema, l'altro giorno è uscito il trailer di "Paper Town" e non potete immaginare quanto curiosa ero di vederlo, specie riguardo al cast. Cara Delevingne e Nat Wolff sono gli attori principali, rispettivamente Margo e Quentin nella storia.

Qualche tempo fa ho letto il libro e l'ho trovato molto piacevole, particolarmente quando descrive "la notte della vendetta" e il viaggio fatto da Q e i suoi amici e non vedo l'ora di scoprire come si svolgono le scene nel film.



I won't tell you the plot, just in case you are attracted by the trailer(which, in my opinion, gives away enough about the story) and you want to buy/download the book.

Non vi dico la trama, giusto in caso siate interessati dal trailer(il quale, a mio parere, mostra un po' troppo riguardo la storia) e vogliate comprare/scaricare il libro.

Because of my sickness, some days ago I boiled a huge amount of basmati rice but I didn't manage to eat it entirely so my mother came up with the idea of the rice tart.
It is common to find small rice tarts in the bakery but, seen the quantity of rice, I decided to made a big one.

A causa di un generale malessere, qualche giorno fa ho bollito un' enorme quantità di riso che però non sono riuscita a mangiare così a mia madre è venuta in mente la ricetta della torta di riso.
Qui è molto comune trovare piccole tortine nei bar o nelle pasticcerie ma, vista la quantità di riso, ho deciso di fare una torta grande.

Ingredients for the shortcrust pastry:
-150gr of white flour
-70gr of butter
-70gr of sugar
-2 egg yolks
-some orange/lemon zest
-a dash of milk
-baking soda/bicarbonate

Ingredients for the filling:
-100/150gr of rice
-1/2 litre of milk
-60gr of butter
-70gr of sugar
-3 egg whites
-a pinch of salt

First of all prepare the shortcrust pastry mixing all the ingredient in a bowl with a whisk 'till you have a uniform mixture, then flatten it with the rolling pin.
Grease the cake pan with a piece of butter and cover it with the shortcrust. Make sure to lay it down well.
Place the cake pan in the fridge while you prepare the filling.

Put in a sauce pan the rice with the milk, the salt and the zest. Let it cook for about 35 minutes, until the rice is super soft.
In a bowl mix the butter, the sugar and the zest and then add the yolks, beated until stiff previously.
Add the cooled rice sauce at the mixture, mix everything and pour the finished cream on the shortcrust pastry.

Now place the cake in the preheated oven at 180° degrees for about 25 minutes and relax while a sweet smell is being diffused in the kitchen.

The cake is fantastically soft and light and it can be matched with a big glass of capuccino for an energizing breakfast/snack.

Prima di tutto preparate la pasta frolla, quindi aggiungete gli ingredienti in una ciotola e mescolate fino a quando non otterrete un composto uniforme, poi appiattitelo con un mattarello.
Imburrate la tortiera con un pezzetto di burro e copritela con la frolla. Fate attenzione a stenderla bene.
Mettete la tortiera in frigo finché preparate il ripieno.

Fate cuocere in un pentolino il riso con il latte, il sale e la buccia di arancia per circa 35 minuti, finché il rison non è diventato molto morbido.
In una ciotola mescola il burro, lo zucchero e la buccia di arancia e poi aggiungi gli albumi montati a neve precedentemente.
Quando la crema di riso diventa fredda, aggiungila al resto del composto, mescola il tutto e versalo sopra la pasta frolla.

E' tempo di mettere la torta nel forno preriscaldato ad 180° per circa 25 minuti, potete quindi finalmente rilassarvi finché un dolce profumo pervade la cucina.

La torta è davvero molto soffice e delicata ed è perfetta da gustare con un bicchierone di cappuccino, se si vuole fare uno snack/una colazione energizzante.
